Keith’s love of music began at nine years old while plunking out Mozart and Van Halen on his family’s keyboard, and later “learning to work the saxophone” in the school band. Upon seeing the famous Chuck Berry scene in Back to the Future, Keith wanted to be a guitar player.
Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in music composition and percussion performance from Western Michigan University, and a Masters in Film Scoring from UNC School of the Arts
In 2002, Keith started his career as a composer for TV commercials in Chicago. This eventually led him to pursue a career composing for television in Los Angeles.
In 2014, Keith started composing original scores for Disney TV Animation for “The 7D”, “Jake and the Neverland Pirates”, and “Descendants Wicked World”.
Keith’s debut album “Rock Scissors” is a culmination of all his experience and influences. He continues to stay busy as an in-demand composer, orchestrator, arranger, and producer in Los Angeles.
